On this basis the application schemes of control devices for impulsive overvoltage are complemented, that substantially reduces the risk of fires and electronic device damage from thunderstorm origin. Abstract

The analysis of national normative and technical requirements of the lightning protection systems shows the necessity of additional protecting measures from the direct strike of lightning or voltage induction by a remote discharge by determining protective devices choice and charts of their settings.
