Abstract
The peak performance of high-performance computers is affected by many factors in practical operation. Scientific programs in different application areas use different algorithms and have different requirements for HPC systems. For example, communication-intensive algorithms require higher network performance of the machine, and computation-intensive algorithms require higher processor performance.
