Abstract

A detection system for enhancing the Bragg wavelength shift accuracy of fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors based on LabVIEW is described. The Phase Spectrum method, widely used in time delay estimation in the fields of radar and sonar, is applied to improve the wavelength shift detection accuracy without the assumption of the spectrum shapes and interpolation operation.
