This study used quantitative research with pre-experimental design and its data collection used pre-test, post-test, and close-end questionnaire. The findings show that scores of students’ pre-test and post-test presented significant improvement of students’ English listening skill. The average students’ pre-test score was 73.25 while the average students’ post-test score was 83.3. Abstract

Duolingo application in mobile assisted language learning can help students flexibly to learn English listening skills by its game-based features. 多邻国在移动辅助语言学习中的应用,可以通过其游戏化的特点,帮助学生灵活地学习英语听力技能。同时,听力技能作为口语交际的重要语言方面之一,是高职高专对专业需求的高度要求。因此,本研究旨在了解学生使用多邻国使用SMK Analis Kesehatan Nasional Surakarta的英语听力技能的进展情况以及学生对该手机应用程序的看法。本研究采用定量研究和实验前设计,数据收集采用前测、后测和封闭式问卷。结果表明,学生的前测和后测成绩均显著提高了学生的英语听力水平。学生的前测平均分为73.25分,后测平均分为83.3分。在学生的感知中,90%的学生对在英语学习过程中使用多邻国手机应用持积极态度。
