The Districts of Qing Baijiang, Pengzhou, Jintang, and Du Jiangyan are the principal areas to contribute industrial emissions in Chengdu, whilst the corresponding industries are cement, steel, fertilizer, and coal-fired electricity. The study is expected to provide insight into the emissions reduction, and the improvement of air quality in Chengdu. Abstract

This paper applies an emission factor approach to measuring the PM2.5 (particulate matter suspended in the atmosphere with diameter ≤ 2.5 μm) emissions from industrial sources in Chengdu.
