Abstract
This study aims to develop a model of pencak silat movement training aged 9-12 years that is adapted to the biomotor components for pencak silat. The introduction to the sport of pencak silat which is carried out in Indonesia generally comes from universities. College is the basis of the sport of pencak silat. Each college has trainers who have different perceptions of the formation of movement, especially in children aged 9-12 years. Almost all coaches provide training models that should be given to youth/adult athletes, but are given to children aged 9-12 years. This problem then causes a level of boredom in the training process so that it makes the child reluctant to continue training to become a reliable athlete. The formation of the right movements and in accordance with what is the child's needs will greatly determine the results of a child's skills on his movement abilities. While the material that can be received by children aged 9-12 years is none other than how concepts in the sport of pencak silat can be conveyed and received through play activities. facilitate the process of practicing martial arts movements. Research on the development of the pencak silat movement training model uses literature studies from various written sources such as articles, journals, and documents that are relevant to the study in this study. The application of innovative training model development into the motion of pencak silat must have cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects, so that the development of the training model is effective for use. This development research product can be used as an alternative training model in training pencak silat movements for children aged 9-12 years. The development of this pencak silat movement training model can be applied in the training process so that it attracts children aged 9-12 years to practice and improve their martial arts movement abilities.
