Bee World • VOL 98 • March 2022 • Page 1 A Special Issue on COLOSS COLOSS (Prevention of honey bee COlony LOSSes) is an international, non-profit association focused on promoting the health and well-being of honey bees of the genus Apis globally (Figure 1). Given Bee World serves as a bridge between beekeepers and bee scientists, what could be more appropriate for this journal than to highlight the work of COLOSS? Correspondingly, we decided to team with COLOSS to produce a special issue to represent its members’ work and accomplishments, emphasizing, where possible, already published articles for further details.
