Spiritual virtues as a factor of Human transformation in Russian Cosmism

Abstract

A person whose spiritual virtues are capable of changing the world is the center of the transformation of reality according to the teachings of cosmism. Christianity also places a person at the center of the Universe, who must prepare his whole life to stay in the kingdom of the Spirit. The article is devoted to both general trends in Christianity and cosmism, as well as fundamental differences between religion and philosophy, which have the same spiritual basis. The purpose of the study is to identify the importance of moral values of a person based on spiritual development for his transformation and gaining the ability to influence the world around him. The article focuses on the essence of man, whose purpose is manifested in the development of his creative and transformative power, and the role of spiritual values in this comprehensive process. The scientific novelty lies in the philosophical understanding of the mission of man as a converter of reality with the support of Christian foundations.
