There is no one in the room in the brightly lit Chongming building, but the lights are not turned off, and a few people are all on. Aiming at the waste of electricity caused by not turning off the lights, this paper designs an energy-saving lamp control system based on a microcontroller to realize the purpose of light on when people come, lights off when people go, and lights on when there are fewer people, and resources are saved. By analyzing the principle of traditional lighting, a design scheme of energy-saving control system for indoor lighting is proposed to achieve the purpose of reducing the waste of power resources. The hardware of this design uses the STC89C52 microcontroller as the core device of the control. The infrared sensor detects the number of people entering the room, and the photoresistor detects the external light environment. According to the judgment conditions of indoor lighting, combining the external ambient light intensity and the specific number of people in the room detected by infrared, the microcontroller can process various signals to achieve complete intelligent control of indoor lighting, avoiding a lot of waste of resources caused by no people in the room and the lights are not off.
