Raman spectroscopy confirmed the high quality and purity of the products. Mechanism studies showed that the growth reaction is driven by heterogeneous crystallization at the interface of the seeds. Abstract
A new way to prepare single crystals of ligand-coordinated chromium (II) acetate with quadruple bonds is presented.
