Salah satu cara untuk melatih kemampuan estimasi dapat melalui strategi permainan tradisional Mpa’a Amba . Namun sebelum itu, dilakukan uji validitas dan reabel oleh dua ahli terhadap perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan yaitu RPP, LKS, BAS, dan Instrument kemampuan estimasi matematika. Setelah dilakukan penilaian, diperoleh bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sangat valid dan sangat reabel. Menggunakan Instrument tersebut, maka diperoleh pengajaran menggunakan strategi Mpa’a Amba khusus materi Aritmetika Sosial untuk meningkatkan kemampuan estimasi matematika pada siswa kelas VII sangat efektif karena diperoleh nilai ketika di ukur menggunakan rumus N-Gain termasuk kategori tinggi. Hal itu dilihat dari perbandingan nilai pre test dan post test. Bahwa peningkatan nilai pre test ke post test antara 66,67 hingga 233,33%. Mathematical Estimation is one of the competencies in mathematics related to the ability to estimate. One way to practice estimation skills can be through the traditional Mpa’a Amba game strategy. But before that, validity and reliability tests were carried out by two experts on the learning tools developed, namely RPP, LKS, BAS, and Instrument of mathematical estimation ability. After the assessment, it was found that the learning tools developed were very valid and very reliable. Using these instruments, the teaching obtained using Mpa'a Amba's strategy specifically Social Arithmetic material to improve the ability of estimation in student’s the VII class is very effective because the value obtained when measured using the N-Gain formula is high. It was seen from the comparison of the pre-test and post-test scores.
