Abstract

Abstract:The author presents a personal journey as a dynamic learning model through the practice of group therapy and multiple family therapy in an involuntary therapeutic setting: a residential program for female drug addicts. Presented in three sections, “Beginnings,” “A Working Model,” and “Learning and Teaching,” the article invites the reader to discover the process of group therapy in practice by following the application of group therapy principles, theory, and practice, in both closed and open settings.
