RESOUND — EU research into reduction of engine source noise through understanding and novel design

Abstract

Following on from previous EU research programmes, RESOUND has investigated the reduction of aircraft engine noise at source. It forms part of the X-Noise Thematic Network. This article provides an overview of the work carried out and presents examples of the results achieved.
