Testing the effectiveness of antibiotic and homeopathic medication in the frame of herd reorganisation of subclinical mastitis in milk cows

Abstract

In organic agriculture the use of antibiotics in therapy and prevention is restricted, especially the antibiotic drying off of cows. An extension of the prohibition to the animals kept under conventional conditions is required by human medicine. A systematic homeopathic programme of preventive measures, as well as standardised homeopathic treatments, will be tested as a possible solution to this problem.
