Abstract

Lung cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors with the highest incidence. Gene mutations are rare in small-cell lung carcinoma (SCLC), resulting in targeted therapy being only a third-line recommendation. Surufatinib (Sulanda) is an oral angio-immune kinase inhibitor used to treat solid tumors. We report a case of SCLC treated with surufatinib combined with camrelizumab, with good therapeutic results in our department. The patient experienced over 18 months of progression-free survival and over 28 months of overall survival. This suggests that surufatinib combined with camrelizumab is an effective third-line treatment for SCLC patients. However, the response rate to surufatinib treatment in all patients with SCLC remains unknown and needs to be determined in a large population.

Anti-Cancer Drugs reports both clinical and experimental results related to anti-cancer drugs, and welcomes contributions on anti-cancer drug design, drug delivery, pharmacology, hormonal and biological modalities and chemotherapy evaluation. An internationally refereed journal devoted to the fast publication of innovative investigations on therapeutic agents against cancer, Anti-Cancer Drugs aims to stimulate and report research on both toxic and non-toxic anti-cancer agents. Consequently, the scope on the journal will cover both conventional cytotoxic chemotherapy and hormonal or biological response modalities such as interleukins and immunotherapy. Submitted articles undergo a preliminary review by the editor. Some articles may be returned to authors without further consideration.
