Abstract

The in-wheel drive system improves energy efficiency as well as expanding the interior space, because it has no drivetrain. However, this system increases the unsprung mass, and thus causes problems in tire road holding performance and ride quality evaluation. To overcome these disadvantages, we developed an advanced dynamic damper mechanism.
