Abstract
This report presents analyses of relationship: among serum urate, serum cholesterol, and nutritional variables including dietary intake and selected biochemistries among U.S. adults ages 18-74 and 25-74 years by age, sex, race, body mass, and selected behavioral patterns or attributes. These estimates are based on standardized examination findings from the national probability samples of the civilian noninstitutional ized population examined in the first National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey of 1971-75.
