Data on each zone were processed and analyzed in order to determine the basic travel characteristics. The basic travel characteristics for related zones are presented in groups in order to better compare similarities and differences. Based on the obtained results on generated traffic and the selected set of independent variables for each zone, the trip rates of generated traffic were calculated and compared with the results of the American manual of generated traffic. Abstract

The paper presents the methodology and results of research on the basic characteristics of movement and generated traffic of different land purposes in the city of Loznica.
