President's report.

Abstract

The seven funded Priority programs positions are at $8200. These are not new positions, but rather could be viewed as replacement dollars. This in turn made available funds to use to raise the other 43 positions to $7430. You might also want to report, as I did at yesterday's Graduate Council meeting, that I have submitted another proposal that would raise all positions to $8200 for next year. This will put us ahead of our peer group average for GA stipends. We still lag far behind in the peer group average of number of positions (our 50 vs. peer average of 155).
