Structure Formation and Multi-layering in an Electrodeposited Copper-Antimony Alloy

Abstract

The present study has investigated electrolysis conditions, in which spatiotemporal structures onto the cathode surface could be observed for the first time, under strictly controlled settings, during Cu-Sb alloy ED. Self-organization phenomena, such as in depth self-assembled deposits structures, appeared when Sb content was higher than 70 wt% in the coatings.
