Abstract
The objective of this research was to evaluate elements present in 75 academic articles and 308 patents to propose a research agenda considering the following question: What is expected from new artifacts aimed at Project Portfolio Management? As a method, we decided to carry out an Systematic Review of Literature and Patents and as results we identified artifacts such as models, methods and software distributed in two dimensions: (1) Plurality, built for specific situations and problems, present in the literature and not tested in the field, which demonstrate the path taken so far; (2) Prospecting, care that directs mapped needs to the development of new studies with greater practical application. As a guiding proposal, we propose the following factors Dynamic Portfolio, Simplification, Integrative Approach, and Integrated Tools to support future studies when there is a need to develop new studies focused on Project Portfolio Management.
