A total of 80 staff nurses were selected by purposive sampling from medical, surgical and orthopedic wards. Data was collected via a structured self-administered questionnaire assessing knowledge and practice compliance and attitude regarding infection control measures. There was a linear correlation between knowledge and attitude; and knowledge and practice scores. Overall, there was no correlation between attitude and practice scores of individuals.
