Most of the patients were in stage two, i.e., 45 (51.1%) and 26 (29.5%) in stage three of the disease. Past history of diabetes was present in 49 (55%) patients. Forty-one (46.6%) patients had documented Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RTPCR) reports in favor of COVID-19 and others had clinical features consistent with COVID-19. Only 1% of patient took COVID-vaccination. Of the total 88 patients, 42 (47%) were on oxygen therapy, 72 (81%) had history of blood transfusion, and 48 (54%) were given steroids.
