Sentido y alcance del contenido esencial del derecho a migrar en Chile

Abstract

: The increase in the migration flow has been a fact in our country during the last five years. Because of that the State of Chile has been forced to give an answer to this situation despite of the complexity of this phenomenon within the current institutional law framework. In this context is interesting to determine the significance of the right to national and international migration law. To build this proposal the Inter-American standards of migrant’s rights were used as a criteria to ensure the accomplishment of this fundamental human right.
