Abstract
The paper describes the case of a patient with a lateral ankle fracture, who came to the hospital emergency department. During the follow-up visit, the cast was removed (numerous bruises, circulation problem, mobility problem, swelling), the patient started rehabilitation due to the persistent complications described above and in order to restore the condition of the treated limb. After 2 months of intensive rehabilitation, including a number of methods, therapies and physical treatments, limb mobility was restored, swelling and pain were reduced, which enabled the patient to live independently and return to work.
