This case study gives us a rare opportunity to examine the process of TV adaptation in Canada. The English version of 19-2 has obviously been designed to be \"faithful,\" in many respects, to the original: the story and narrative arcs are quite similar; many characters still bear the name of their French predecessors; the formal features and narrative conventions of the series have mostly been reproduced.
