Additives are added to fuel to produce environmentally friendly exhaust emissions in motorized vehicles by increasing oxygen (O2) consumption. Oxygen is abundant in the blood, especially in hemoglobin. This research was conducted to utilize hemoglobin from cow blood waste as an exhaust emission-reducing additive. These hemoglobin were mixed with methanol by 0.1% (b/v) at maceration time 2, 3, and 4 days.
