Abstract

Set further back from the street line than usual in Budapest this home cloaked in dark brickwork conceals a light and airy interior. Playfully working with the proportions of brickwork to inform the built plan and spatial form follows previous works by this architectural studio. Unusually this single home is higher than its neighbouring apartment buildings taking advantage of its landscape to offer views from the roof terrace.
