A Case of Reactive Arthritis in a Healthy Adult

Abstract

A 32-year-old man presented to the emergency department with a several-day history of low back pain, right knee pain, and left foot pain. He had been treated several weeks prior to presentation for a sexually transmitted infection (STI) but could not recall which organism or antibiotic was involved. He had no significant medical history. He had no recent abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloating, headache, myalgias, or neck stiffness.
