Receptive Ecumenism and the Charism of a Partner Church:

Abstract

The notion of institutional charisms is explored and it is applied to the ecumenical encounter. It is suggested that the Roman Catholic Church is called to receive into its own life and preaching, from its Lutheran partner, the charism of a liberating theology of justification.
