Main outcome measures: frequency and percentages tabulated in a database program using Microsoft Excel 2007. Results: The most frequent ARI were acute pharyngitis (46.7%), acute rinopharyngitis (26%) and acute bronchitis (8%). Amoxicillin was prescribed in 68%, 44% and 55% of the cases, respectively. Cotrimoxazole was prescribed in 19%, 22% and 45% of the cases, respectively.
