Abstract

The present study was carried out over two years between 2013 and 2015 along the AndamanN Chromodorididae - 17 species, Discodorididae and Polyceridae - 3 species each, and Facelinidae - 4 species. Deeper waters between 25 and 40 m still remain relatively unexplored over vast territory in India in general and Andaman&Nicobar Islands in particular. Thus, more focused studies from these depths may reveal many more undocumented opisthobranch fauna.
