A New Species of the Genus Lemba Huang, 1983 (Orthoptera: Acrididae: Oxyinae) from the State of Meghalaya, North-East India

Abstract

Anew species, Lemba elongata sp. nov. of the subfamily Oxyinae from Meghalaya, a north-eastern state of India, has been reported for the first time. The species was observed on Cynodon grass. In addition to conventional morphological characters, genitalic structures are also studied.
