Brachial neuritis with isolated long thoracic nerve involvement

Abstract

Idiopathic brachial neuritis is a disease by asymmetrical involvement of the brachial plexus, causing sudden onset, severe pain, muscle weakness, loss of function and sensation. It can be confused with many musculoskeletal problems. İdiopathic brachial neuritis should be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of new-onset shoulder pain. Early recognition of this condition can prevent unnecessary surgical intervention.
