The article focuses on feeding as one of the most common problems in providing care for this category of children, which is due to a combination of unfavorable factors. Abstract

This article presents a clinical presentation of the disease in children with Down syndrome, current data on inheritance pattern, prevalence, and diagnosis. Information necessary for health workers in the organization of feeding and care for such children and recommendations for conversations with their parents are given.
