The role of neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy vs chemotherapy in cancer of oesophagus

Abstract

Oesophageal malignancies are accounted as the eighth most common malignancy across the globe and the sixth leading cause of cancer-related deaths. The mortality to incidence ratio noted to be 0.88 The momentum towards neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatments is therefore understandable.
