The messages were analyzed using Thematic Content Analysis. Results the WhatsApp® group had good acceptance and adhesion by the mothers, who were able to share their experiences, knowledge, and feelings. The main topics raised were: Breastfeeding the premature baby; Management of infant colic; Basic care of the premature baby at home; Experiences in the hospitalization of the premature baby; Challenges faced at home; Mothers' perception of the WhatsApp® group. Conclusion and implications for the practice the mothers showed insecurities and doubts about the basic care of the premature baby at home.
