O discurso museológico e suas tipologias em um museu de história natural

EnglishDue to museums popularity and their social, cultural, and scientific roles, there has been a growing interest in investigating how teaching occurs at museums and their contributions to the public awareness of science. Museums present an innate type of discourse named museological, consisting of various elements found on explanations, which visitors can interact with. This study analyzes the museological discourse of a paleontological exhibition, concluding that it is essentially contemplative, with a predominance of authoritarian discourse on the exhibited texts, as seen in the pedagogical discourse. Reflecting on museum exhibitions and whom they are aimed at, with adjustments being made according to the audiences, what is important is the manner in which critical learning benefits and the importance of interactive objects and reflexive texts as facilitators of the process of the construction of meanings by the visitors themselves. portuguesCresce cada vez mais o interesse de se investigar como ocorre o ensino nos museus e sua contribuicao para a divulgacao cientifica devido a sua grande popularidade e seu papel social, cultural e cientifico. Os museus apresentam um discurso proprio, denominado museologico, que e constituido pelos diversos elementos presentes em suas exposicoes, com os quais os visitantes podem interagir de alguma maneira. Ao se analisar o discurso museologico presente em uma exposicao paleontologica, concluiu-se que esta e basicamente contemplativa e observou-se uma predominância do discurso autoritario nos textos expostos, tal qual como acontece no discurso pedagogico. Refletir sobre as exposicoes museologicas e a quem se destinam, fazendo-se adequacoes ao seu publico, e uma maneira de favorecer um aprendizado critico em que uso de objetos interativos e textos reflexivos seriam facilitadores desse processo de construcao de significados pelo proprio visitante.
