The analysis of variance considering practice (incompatible, no-practice group) and correspondence (corresponding, non-corresponding) revealed a two-way interaction (F = 7.07; p = 0.012; ?p2 = 0.191) showing that the Simon effect was eliminated in the incompatible practice group, but remained intact in the group with no previous practice.
