Representaciones y problematizaciones de la organización familiar en la literatura infantil y juvenil argentina.

Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to describe, analyze, and compare how new family arrangements are represented in children’s and youth literature since the reform of the Civil Code (Law No. 26994) in 2014, and the ratification in 2010 of the Egalitarian Marriage Law No. 26.618, in Argentina. This study focuses on recently legally-recognized homoparental families, in order to examine how the Argentinean cultural industry narrates their stories, with special attention to its common traits, omissions and stereotyping.
