Abstract

El estudio de la epigrafía romana del País Vasco ha estado asociado, desde el siglo XVII hasta hoy, al interés por la Antigüedad Clásica en el País Vasco. Este trabajo tienen como objetivo una revisión historiográfica, en la que se analiza la influencia, por un lado, de una historia al servicio de determinados intereses políticos y, por otro, de una historia crítica basada en los restos epigráficos y arqueológicos aparecidos en el territorio del País Vasco.
