The values obtained were less than the recommended safe and criterion limits by UNSCEAR. Abstract

The concentrations of natural radionuclides in abattoir wastes and sediments of streams and rivers around selected abattoirs in Southwestern Nigeria have been measured using gamma-ray spectrometry.
