Abstract
Although leishmaniasis is mainly a disease of immunocompetent population, reported cases of the disease related with immunosuppression, have increased during the last decades. The visceral form of the disease is often identified after solid organ transplantation, while limited data of leishmaniasis infection are available after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
