Abstract

AbstractThe new National Skills Academy for Social Care has set itself a significant challenge — to improve the capability of the social care workforce and their ability to meet the complex social care needs of the future. This paper looks at how it is targeting learning support and training practice to the 1.75 million adult social care workers and over 40,500 employers in England.
