The core of transgenic technology refers to the host chromosome gene accepting exogenous genes, which integrate into the host chromosome expressing it stably, followed by transmission to the next generations. Abstract

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignant diseases and brings about serious damage to the human body. Presently, the incidence of CRC ranks third among the malignant tumors, and its 5-year survival rate is only about 50%. In recent years, more and more studies have focused on the application of transgenic technology in CRC research in vivo, which involves a great number of genes significantly related to the occurrence and development of CRC. The core of transgenic technology refers to the host chromosome gene accepting exogenous genes, which integrate into the host chromosome expressing it stably, followed by transmission to the next generations.
