The author presents and illustrates a dozen examples taken from the fields of engineering and architecture, most of them involving work performed in his laboratory. In order to introduce modern photogrammetry to the engineer's working methods, it must, as far as possible, be made independent of the existence of surveying cameras. Three different, well-tried types of simple camera are illustrated. Abstract
Photogrammetry at close ranges can be applied to solve a great number of interesting and important non-topographical problems. The author presents and illustrates a dozen examples taken from the fields of engineering and architecture, most of them involving work performed in his laboratory.
