Abstract

After the analysis of the input current space vector modulation(SVM) algorithm of matrix converter(MR) under balanced three-phase input voltages condition,a generalized current SVM algorithm of MR was mainly proposed so as to suit the imbalanced three-phase input voltages conditions based on variable sector and instantaneous value calculation.Thereby in order to improve the adaptability of the new algorithm to the voltage unbalance and increase the voltage utilization,a simple process approach was put forward.To validate the new algorithm,a practical simulation model of MR was built up with SIMULINK6.0.After detailed description of the modeling principle,the simulation results under balanced and imbalanced conditions are provided respectively.They are consistent with analysis results,which prove the proposed algorithm.
