Abstract This is a slightly edited unofficial transcript of the statement made by Allan Nairn at hearings on the Humanitarian Crisis in East Timor, held before the International Operations and Human Rights Subcommittee of the U.S. House Committee on International Relations on 30 September 1999, in Washington, D.C.
