The Rosenberg Task Force and the Export of Cultural Assets from the USSR

Abstract

The Reichsleiter Rosenberg Task Force (ERR) was most energetically engaged in the theft and expropriation of Russian cultural assets. Captured documents, now declassified, held in the former Special Archive and the Central State Archive of Ukraine, contain valuable information on its activity.
