Abstract

In support of a collaboration between SuperPower, Inc., Nexans SuperConductors GmbH, American Electric Power Company, Inc., and EPRI to develop an HTS matrix fault current limiter, Oak Ridge National Laboratory is carrying out thermal property studies on samples of the bulk HTS elements that will be used in the device.
